Two fishermen's cottages.
Restored with soul.
The first two cabanas were built by local fishermen. Timber, thatch and whitewashed walls — with the sea on the horizon and sand between the floorboards. They were carefully restored without losing a single detail that made them what they are.
The wooden walkways connecting the four cabanas — surrounded by native sand and low vegetation — echo the Carrasqueira Stilt Pier, that maze of planks over the water that is one of the most honest symbols of the Sado Estuary. Same logic: paths made for walking, unhurried.
Four independent cabanas. Five bedrooms. A 1,540 m² plot where sand, garden and pool share the space — facing Lagoa Formosa and the sunset that comes in through every window at the end of the day.
