The story

They bought a ruin.
They built something that works.

When the current owners arrived at Monte da Pechincha, there was a lot to rebuild. They bought it in ruins and spent years restoring it — with care, taste and patience. The result is a 470m² estate in excellent condition, with four suites licensed for accommodation and a 9.6 rating on Booking.com.

For personal reasons, they can no longer give the Monte the attention it deserves or scale it to its potential. The current operation runs weekends only — the business works, generates revenue, and has every capacity to grow under dedicated management.

Eighteen hectares of centuries-old olive grove in full production. A lake. A heated saltwater pool. A marble hammam that no one imagines exists behind the white gate with blue trim. Five private boreholes. Sold with agricultural equipment included, ready to operate the day after signing.

Estremoz marble hammam — Monte da Pechincha
The detail no one expects

Estremoz marble.
Behind a white gate.

Estremoz is the world capital of white marble. And in this estate, the marble isn't decoration — it's structure. The hammam was built with local stone from floor to ceiling, including the vault and the dark marble benches. A space that, in any other context, would cost a fortune to recreate.

This is the philosophy of the whole property: noble materials, careful craft, no ostentation. The Alentejo doesn't need to impose itself — you just have to let it be.

Lake with wooden jetty and olive grove — Monte da Pechincha
The land

A lake. An olive grove.
A different scale.

Seen from a drone, the scale changes. Eighteen hectares of century-old olive trees — some over two hundred years old — spread in ordered rows around the buildings. At the far end of the land, an irrigation retention lake has a wooden jetty where you watch the sunset with nothing else in front of you.

It's this land that explains the scale of the project. And that, well managed, ensures the return.

The video

How we told
the Monte's story.

The film we made for Monte da Pechincha doesn't describe — it shows. What stays with a place when the camera passes through it late in the afternoon, with sunlight hitting the marble and the silence of the olive grove as the soundtrack.
